The Park City, Utah area offers miles of groomed trails and skating lanes along with providing cross-country ski rentals, lessons, and guided tours.

Although known for its downhill ski resorts, the Park City area has much to offer the cross-country skier. Whether stretching out after a week on the downhill slopes, trying on a pair of Nordic skis for the first time, or needing to challenge those powerful skate skiing legs, Utah's Greatest Snow on Earth is more than ideal for a cross-country ski adventure.

White Pine Touring Center

Located in the heart of Park City, White Pine Touring is both an outdoor retailer and guide service. White Pine offers reasonable cross-country and skate ski rental services and their friendly and knowledgeable staff will fit you comfortably. Tour White Pine's 20km course right in the center of Park City itself. Three groomed tracks offer terrain for the beginner to expert skier and incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Explore the groomed tracks on your own or register for a guided ski tour of the area.

Soldier Hollow Cross-Country Ski Resort

Home to the 2002 Winter Olympic Nordic Ski events, Soldier Hollow offers a 31km network of perfectly groomed trails for the beginner to grueling hill climbs for the experts. Rent skis at the fully equipped Rossignol Demo Center and sign up for lessons or a guided tour at the Ski School. Take break and warm up next to the fireplace in Soldier Hollow’s beautiful lodge and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding Wasatch Range. Soldier Hollow is located just south of Park City.

Wasatch Mountain State Park

Located near Park City and adjacent to Soldier Hollow, the Wasatch Mountain State Park offers 10km of skate lanes and groomed ski track. This four-season state park features both flat and hilly terrain with views of the surrounding mountains and farmland of the Heber Valley. Rentals are available at the park.

The Homestead Cross-Country Ski Center

The Homestead is an incredible resort tucked in the Wasatch Mountains behind Park City. The Homestead is an excellent lodging alternative to Park City.
